The Manchester group behind Gino D’Acampo’s restaurants has taken over a five-star hotel’s rooftop bar.

Upmarket Leisure has acquired Radio Rooftop at ME London after agreeing a deal with Spain’s largest hotel group, Meliá Hotels International.

Overall, the group will take over all food and beverage operations including Radio Rooftop, Marconi Bar, ME events and in-room dining.

A new menu will be unveiled in autumn while the refurbishment of Radio Rooftop will follow in the New Year.

Upmarket Leisure was established in 2021 and is majority owned by Steven Walker.

Its collection of restaurants includes Luciano by Gino D’Acampo, Gino D’Acampo, Gino D’Acampo Restaurants, 360 Sky Bar, and First Street Bar & Kitchen, with whom it delivers in partnership with Melia Hotels International, Marriott Bonvoy, and Hamilton – Pyramid Europe.
