My Hospitality Roots
I started in the Hospitality industry at the age of 15, working at a local hotel in the restaurant and function suits. I was hooked on the industry from day one, the busy and loud atmosphere working with fun like minded people made me look forward to going to work, which is something not many people can say! This incredible industry has given me so much and taken me to some incredible places. I studied Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts at the University of Derby, from there I was able to spend a year of my life working abroad in stunning venues in the French Alps and the beautiful Mallorca. After returning home to the UK I have since gained management experience running amazing venues across Cumbria and The Ribble Valley. I recently joined the Ginger Hospitality team after hearing great things about the company and given the chance to work with some familiar faces while still working within the industry that I know and love, making it an easy transition. Working every day to help find brilliant people their new dream job is the best feeling and I look forward to continuing working with the great team at Ginger for many years to come.
