Jenni kicked off the weekend with a family reunion at Evenley Wood Garden, a tranquil oasis featuring lush greenery and a cosy café. They explored the beautiful grounds, indulged in fresh apple juice, and relaxed at the Red Lion in Evenley, a charming pub in the heart of the village. A buffet lunch at The Fox and Hounds in Whittlebury replenished their energy after a long walk through the picturesque countryside.
Jodie’s Friday night was a delightful affair at The Queens in Lytham, an elegant restaurant known for its diverse menu and impeccable service. From Chicken and Chorizo Risotto to Braised Beef Wellington, they savoured every bite. Jodie also travelled to Llandudno to watch the triathlon and savouring wood-fired pizza at Johnny Dough’s Pizza and brunch at Ormo Lounge, known for its cosy atmosphere and tempting brunch options.
Ben embraced the weekend with a refreshing Lake District walk, blessed with favourable weather and stunning scenery. The Inn at Whitewell offered a picturesque spot to enjoy. For a well-earned meal, Ben ventured to Brizola, a family-run Greek-inspired bar and grill, serving vibrant, flavourful dishes inspired by Mediterranean cuisine.
Josh started his weekend with Friday evening drinks at Forum Bar and Kitchen, a stylish venue known for its relaxed atmosphere. He then visited The Whalley Wine Bar, his favourite spot in Whalley. On Saturday, he treated himself to a delectable meal at Teepee on the Green by Yu, a restaurant known for its modern Chinese cuisine with a twist.
Craig’s weekend journey led him to Food by Brenda Murphy in Whalley, where he explored the Pantry Shop, a delightful space offering fresh cakes and bread made with care. An unexpected find at the Hand-Crafted Artisan bread pop-up, a celebration of artisanal breadmaking, added a delightful twist to his weekend culinary adventures.
