From North Wales to Clitheroe, Manchester to Stoke, Ginger Hospitality has been busy bees this weekend, buzzing around the UK and visiting some of our favourite eateries, events and staycations.
Crust Pizzeria

Jodie, our Head of Hospitality, visited North Wales for the first time this season at the weekend. For anyone that doesn’t know Jodie, there’s nothing she loves more than staying away in her camper van in North Wales, so when
the campsites (finally) opened their gates again on Saturday, Jodie and her husband headed straight there. Where better to stop than her favourite pizza place? Jodie indulged in a delicious pizza topped with Italian sausage, pickled broccoli leaves, and wild mushrooms. It looks absolutely delicious!
WaterWorld
Colin, our Managing Director, spent his Saturday with his son at Waterworld in Stoke on Trent. Before Covid, Colin’s son was devastated when he wasn’t allowed to ride the Trapdoor Water slide in Tenerife, due to not being tall enough. Well! On Saturday he finally fulfilled his dream. He was ecstatic as he dropped down the tube, with Colin describing his face as ‘Worth it’.
San Carlo, Manchester

Craig, the Head of Permanent Hospitality Recruitment here at Ginger, visited San Carlo, Manchester on Saturday. San Carlo restaurant has been serving classic Italian food since 1992. The restaurant now has multiple locations across six cities in the UK. Craig said the food was delicious, and the ambience of the place is unmatched. A brilliant experience!
Candlelight Concerts, Manchester

Later that evening, Craig attended a concert at the Concorde Exhibition Centre in Manchester, where a string quartet played Sci-Fi and Fantasy by candlelight, creating a magical atmosphere. The quartet played songs from Richard Strauss, Hans Zimmer and Ron Grainer to name a few.
The Rum Fox
Robyn, one of the Recruitment Consultants here at Ginger, had a fantastic weekend, starting by attending the soft opening of The Rum Fox on Friday.
She enjoyed BBQ red prawn, scallop dumplings, and hot and sour lobster broth for starters, followed by venison loin and braised shoulder, celeriac, potato terrine, and Kampot pepper sauce for the main course. She paired her meal with a delightful Malbec wine. Robyn said, “Bob and the team have done a fantastic job with The Rum Fox everything from the food, wine, and service is impeccable!”
Artisan at Foxfields
On Saturday, Robyn and Jenni, another of our Recruitment Consultants, visited Artisan at Foxfields and enjoyed cheesy garlic bread, hummus and pittas, aspen fries, and mixed olives. They commented on the lovely atmosphere and appreciated the excellent service.
Later that evening, Robyn and her partner watched Scream 6 at Everyman Cinema in Clitheroe. They sat on comfy sofas and sipped wine while trying not to jump out of their seats during the movie.
Overall, the team had a fantastic weekend filled with exciting experiences, delicious food, and impeccable service. Ginger Hospitality is thrilled to have such a brilliant team that is passionate about hospitality. We’re already excited to see what the next weekend’s adventure will bring. Keep an eye out for next week’s Where Ginger Goes to see what else we get up to!
