Team Ginger had another fabulous weekend, filled with joyous occasions. As Mother’s Day approached, several members treated their beloved mums to delicious lunches at some of their favourite cafes, pubs, and restaurants. Adding to the festivities, we had not one, but two birthdays to celebrate this week. Robyn and Paige visited their favourite eateries to celebrate their special day. We’re confident that you’ll relish reading about our latest adventures in ‘Where Ginger Goes…’
The Castle Hotel, Conwy 
Jodie had an absolutely fantastic weekend! She treated her mother-in-law to a scrumptious afternoon tea at The Castle Hotel in Conwy, part of the Coaching Inn Group. The exquisite spread of delicious sandwiches, scones, and cakes was to die for. It was the perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day and create lasting memories together. Jodie is already looking forward to her next visit to The Castle Hotel!
Dylan’s Deli, Conwy
Jodie then went on to indulge in some delightful treats! She visited Dylan’s Deli in Conwy, where she savored the scrumptious crab arancini, onion bhaji scotch eggs, and Welsh Tigres. The deli’s fantastic selection of mouth-watering food left her spoilt for choice. She loved the welcoming ambiance and the friendly service that made her visit to Dylan’s Deli an unforgettable experience. Jodie cannot wait to return to this amazing foodie heaven again!
The Shed at Stydd 
Craig had a wonderful time celebrating Mother’s Day with his partner and parents. He visited The Shed at Stydd, a delightful spot owned by Jo and adored by the local village residents. The highlight of his visit was the exquisite afternoon tea that he and his family enjoyed, filled with delectable sandwiches, scones, and cakes. The cozy ambiance and friendly service made the experience all the more special. Craig was delighted to have discovered this hidden gem a while back, and is always impressed when he visits.
The Freemasons at Wiswell / The Eagle at Barrow
Josh had a lovely weekend enjoying the outdoors and exploring. He went on a walk and passed by two iconic spots – the Freemasons at Wiswell and the Eagle at Barrow. Both venues are popular among locals and tourists alike, known for their brilliant food and drink. Josh enjoyed taking in the stunning Ribble Valley views while stopping by these landmarks. It was a refreshing break from his daily routine and an opportunity to discover the hidden treasures of the Ribble Valley.
Mananas, Abersoch
Robyn had a fantastic birthday weekend, starting on Friday night when she went to Mananas, a Mexican restaurant. She was impressed by the excellent service she received, and the margaritas were exceptional. The restaurant’s atmosphere was lively, and the staff were friendly and attentive, adding to her overall dining experience. Robyn enjoyed the delicious Mexican cuisine and the great company, making it an unforgettable evening. She highly recommends Mananas to anyone looking for fantastic food and a memorable night out.
The Potted Lobster
Robyn continued her birthday celebrations at The Potted Lobster in Abersoch. She and her partner started off with a mouth-watering tempura prawn taco and some delicious calamari. For their main course, they indulged in seafood linguine and duck breast, which were both outstanding. To wash down the meal, they enjoyed some refreshing negronis. The service at The Potted Lobster was exceptional, and the staff went out of their way to make sure they had a memorable experience. Robyn was impressed by the quality of the food, and the drinks were perfectly crafted. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience that left Robyn eager to return to The Potted Lobster.
The Ivy 
Paige had a wonderful weekend dining at The Ivy, a well-known restaurant that never disappoints. The chic ambience and elegant decor added to the sophisticated dining experience. The menu offered a great selection of dishes, and Paige was impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and always on hand to make sure that she had an exceptionally special birthday. Paige is looking forward to returning to The Ivy for her next special occasion. Paige finished off her evening by paying a visit to Junk Yard Golf. Sounds like a fantastic night Paige!
